Michael Vadiveloo – Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (As awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2009)

Michael-VadivelooMichael graduated as a physiotherapist in 1986. He has a degree in Human Movement Studies as well as Physiotherapy which he finds is an invaluable knowledge resource in treating both spinal and sports injuries.

Michael has now achieved the title of Specialists Sports Physiotherapist (one of only 8 in Victoria) and has over 29 years experience in treating clients with a variety of back/neck problems and sports injuries to all joints. He was a physiotherapist at St.Kilda Football Club from 1991 to 2005 and has traveled extensively with representative teams including Australia (International Rules vs Ireland 2003, 2004, 2005) the Dream Team (vs Victoria 2008) and the Indigenous All Stars (vs Adelaide Crows 2009).

This experience ensures that he has the knowledge to provide physiotherapy based assessment and treatments of the highest level. A 10 year association with General Motors Holden, Hella Manufacturing and other associated industries has provided an understanding and knowledge of both white and blue collar working requirements. This has ensured that he has the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with injuries in the workplace. He has lectured to both peers and industry on injuries in sport and ergonomic issues in the workplace.

In July 2015 Michael established The Knee Clinic  a specialised treatment program operating primarily from his central Melbourne based clinic City Baths Spinal and Sports Medicine Clinic. Michael is also the developer of the SMARTherapist app designed to assist clients with their rehabilitation- available now for Apple users from the App Store and coming soon on Android.


Attila Baranyay – Physiotherapist & Pilates Clinician

Attila Attila completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2013 after 6 years in the fitness industry; a passion for exercise still forms the basis of his practice. He is an Oakleigh local and still trains and competes in track sprinting, allowing him to understand the importance of exercise and performance from an athlete’s perspective. It has also prompted special interest into functional exercise, resistance training and high level rehabilitation programming.

Attila has experience working with Noble Park FC (EFL Div 1) and Casey Scorpions (VFL), and has more recently begun work with FC11, an elite soccer training program.


Alice Molyneux – Physiotherapist & Pilates Clinician

Alice completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2012 and is currently undertaking a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.

Alice has worked in a Sports and Musculoskeletal clinic for the past 5 years before deciding to come across the border to Melbourne. Alice has worked with the u18, U16 and womens SANFL teams and as a result has a particular interest in the management and prevention of sporting injuries from adolescent and elite athletes to the weekend warrior.

Alice has completed the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Series with Polestar pilates and utilizes pilates as part of her management.

Alice’s personal interests include travel, sport, eating good food and drinking good wine.


Bradley Smith – Physiotherapist & Pilates Clinician

B-Smith-headshot-236x300Brad graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in 2009 and is currently undertaking his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.

Since graduating, Brad has worked in private practices in both Melbourne and the UK and split his weekends between various sporting teams and orthopaedic wards. As a result, Brad has a particular interest injury prevention, treatment and post-operative rehabilitation.

Brad has also completed further studies in dry needling and clinical Pilates and utilises these treatment methods regularly.

Brad’s personal interests include travel and sport, particularly golf, combining the two wherever possible.
