Michael Vadiveloo

Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (As awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2009)

Michael graduated as a physiotherapist in 1986. He has a degree in Human Movement Studies as well as Physiotherapy which he finds is an invaluable knowledge resource in treating both spinal and sports injuries.

Michael has now achieved the title of Specialists Sports Physiotherapist (one of only 8 in Victoria) and has over 29 years experience in treating clients with a variety of back/neck problems and sports injuries to all joints. He was a physiotherapist at St.Kilda Football Club from 1991 to 2005 and has traveled extensively with representative teams including Australia (International Rules vs Ireland 2003, 2004, 2005) the Dream Team (vs Victoria 2008) and the Indigenous All Stars (vs Adelaide Crows 2009).

This experience ensures that he has the knowledge to provide physiotherapy based assessment and treatments of the highest level. A 10 year association with General Motors Holden, Hella Manufacturing and other associated industries has provided an understanding and knowledge of both white and blue collar working requirements. This has ensured that he has the necessary skills and knowledge to deal with injuries in the workplace. He has lectured to both peers and industry on injuries in sport and ergonomic issues in the workplace.

In July 2015 Michael established The Knee Clinic  a specialised treatment program operating primarily from his central Melbourne based clinic City Baths Spinal and Sports Medicine Clinic. Michael is also the developer of the SMARTherapist app designed to assist clients with their rehabilitation- available now for Apple users from the App Store and coming soon on Android.

James Paul

Physiotherapist & Pilates Clinician

James Paul graduated from La Trobe University in 2014. He has always had a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy,  as well as clinical pilates. James has completed further training in pilates that can be utilised in a class setting as well as one on one consultations.

James’ interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation comes from his interest in sports, exercise and the human body. All of which are important for treating clients from all aspects of life.

James enjoys playing golf, and also currently plays football with the Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club, and unfortunately for him has dealt with a number of his own injuries, meaning he has experience on both sides of the consultation!
